The rounded sun, he rises and sets
a circle without a seam

And when the night esconds his glow
the humble moon shines quietly
like a loyal friend

Two by two they live in flow
loving the world they find

This photograph:
A pause in time, accurate as it can be,
deceives the eye - a smooth disguise
never able to contain the truth

By day we travel
and at night reflect
on the distance we've come from our past

But no memory is certain
as no image genuine...

So I can only rely
on the couple in the sky
every day and night
as they rise and set
